Since Callahan’s 1978 beginning our housewares and gift department has changed continually due to customer demand and home décor style trends.
Our retro kitchen department includes meat grinders and sausage stuffers, lots of cast iron cookware, year round supply of canning equipment, complimenting our very large selection of gadgets “you didn’t know you even needed” are electric and non-electric nutcrackers, grain mills, butter churns, Fels Naptha bar soap, 2 Old Goats lotion, can crushers, oil cloth sold by the foot, corn cutters, pea shellers, enamelware and splatterware and kitchen compost pails. This department sets us apart from the box stores.
Whether it’s a gift for someone else or for your own wants and needs you’re looking for, we have a large selection of decorative crosses, farm animal décor, western dinnerware and cabinet hardware, Texas souvenirs, weathervanes and wind chimes, armadillo droppings, Texas made Circle E and Tyler candles as well as “Squirrel Underpants.” All under the same roof!
